We thank the Lord for the partnership that has been established between West Baptist Church in Batesville, Arkansas and the Baptist Church in Apante, Nicaragua. On Friday, January 11th, Rev. Bill Allen traveled to Nicaragua to make the partnership official and a special ceremony was held on Sunday, marking the beginning of the 3 year partnership.  We look forward to seeing what the Lord does as these churches work together for the glory of God. 

We are excited to announce that Kimberly Bradley, our Director of Training and Logistics was successful in reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and claiming "Uhuru" (Freedom) for victims around the world who are caught in human trafficking.  To view the full story and see pictures of her journey, click on the picture or the link below.

Crosspoint International has completed the first semester at the Seminary Extension Center in Chinandega, Nicaragua.  The partnership with the Nicaraguan Baptist Theological Seminary to open an extension site in Chinandega was finalized early last year and the first semester began this past fall.  The goal is provide a two-year program for church leaders and a three year training curriculum for pastors.  This partnership will make it possible for many throughout the northwestern region of Nicaragua to attend weekly classes and work toward a seminary degree.  Click to read more.

At Crosspoint International our philosophy of ministry is that God only has one plan to reach the world and that is through the local church.  Therefore, as a ministry, we are called to use our resources to help nurture and grow the local church in each area where we work.  In other words, we are called to help the local church become what God has called it to be: A healthy, functioning, reproducing body of Christ that is meeting the needs of its community both spiritual and physical.   When the church is healthy, growing and reproducing itself by planting other churches, when it is reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, when it is a lamp bringing light to the darkness surrounding it, then (and only then) have we done our job.  When we, as a ministry, are no longer needed by a particular local church then our efforts are a complete success!
