UPWARD BASEBALL LEAGUE, NICARAGUA November 1, 2010

Crosspoint International is prayerfully considering a potential opportunity to partner with the US Major League Baseball Chapel and churches throughout Nicaragua.  We feel God is leading us to start a baseball ministry to reach out to the youth of that country.  We are looking at scheduling a vision trip late this year, or early 2011 to begin discussions and to form a strategic plan and partnerships.  Please contact us if you would be interested in participating in this new ministry.

DANLI SPORTS PAVILLION, DANLI HONDURAS January 1, 2010

First Baptist, Danli Sports Pavillion - Danli, Honduras (project#FN0724H)

God has given Pastor Mario Rivera of First Baptist Church in Danli, Honduras the vision to build a multi-purpose sports facility on the church property as a way to reach the youth in his city. Danli, as with many cities in Central America, has seen a rise in the amount of young people resorting to joining gangs as a way to fit into society. Mario's dream is to be able to start sports leagues to teach young people principles like sportsmanship and self-discipline but more importantly to teach them about Jesus Christ. This facility would include a basketball court and soccer field and could be used for church functions as well.

LA MINA CHURCH, HONDURAS January 1, 2010

La Mina Church Construction - La Mina, Honduras (project#FN0723H)

The Lord has given us the vision to build a church from the ground up in La Mina, Honduras. This very remote, rural community has a pastor and a congregation meeting in a very small, dilapidated building. Our plan is to build them a facility where they can worship Christ and have room to expand their ministry.

We are seeking funding for a construction project to replace the crumbling red tile roof of the First Baptist Church in El Encinal, Honduras with new metal rafters and a sturdy aluminum roof.
